1. About

These terms govern your use of the InvestLincoln website (the “site”) and your membership of The Collective. InvestLincoln and LoveLincoln are operated by the same team. By using the site, you accept them.

2. Membership

InvestLincoln is a private collective. Membership is annual, at the price shown when you join, and is open to those who meet the entry criteria in our Membership Terms: you tell us which criteria you meet, and we may accept, decline or end any membership at our discretion, at any time and without giving a reason. Backing Project-01 means becoming a Founding Partner in LoveLincoln. That is purchased on lovelincoln.co.uk under LoveLincoln’s own terms, and includes a complimentary year of InvestLincoln membership for the person named at purchase, after which the ordinary annual membership applies.

3. Payments, events and refunds

Prices are as shown at the time of booking. InvestLincoln is not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged. Payments are taken via Stripe. Event tickets are for the named holder and admission is at our discretion. As our members and partners join in a business capacity, statutory consumer cooling-off rights do not apply; refunds or credits are at our discretion.

4. Your content

If you publish a member or business profile, or submit anything else to the site, you confirm it is yours to share and is not unlawful, and you give us permission to publish, store and display it on the site and in related promotion. You are responsible for what you submit, and you can edit or unpublish your profile at any time. We may remove any content at our discretion.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the site unlawfully; do not post anything false, defamatory, offensive or infringing; do not use the member directory for unsolicited marketing; and do not disrupt the site, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or scrape it without our permission.

6. Our content

The site, its design, brand and our original content belong to InvestLincoln and are protected by law. You may read and share links freely, but please do not republish our content without permission.

7. Liability

The site is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from your use of the site or from anything published on it. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and are subject to its courts.
